BIOGRAPHY
Walters mother died when he was only two and a one-half years old.He has no memory of her, since he was so young. He was raised as a cherish child by the
Dean family, so he took their last name as part of his deliver.His severe speech handicap caused him frustration, anger, and embarrassment, especially when he was

went to Empire State College. He married his wife Joyce in 1960 and had two children before the family dissolved in divorce[->2].



Myers is the 1994 recipent of the
