Abraham Lincoln, born on February 12, 1809, in Hardin Country, Kentucky, was the 16th prexy of the United States. Lincoln served as president from March 4, 1861, until April 15, 1865 when he was assassinated, during which time the Civil War between northward and southern took place. All in all, Abraham Lincoln could be considered a profound president. As president, he worked to help many different groups of throng, assist and tempered the black well, and was a shrewd military commander. rough people might argue that Lincoln was not such a great president. They might point out that he did not actually think of blacks as cosmos equal, that he felt the Union took priority of the blacks rights and freedom, or that he say and endorsed military acts which lead to the deaths of many civilians.
