Managerial Accounting

When I first started this course I didnt suppose I would enjoy it. Management has never been something I was in reality interested in, much less managerial accounting. Before beginning college I looked up and read about some of the disparate types of careers associated with accounting and forensic accounting was the one that really caught my eye, impregnablely after finishing this course I feel bid managerial accounting is something I could see myself enjoying as a career. That being said, the concepts in this course that have made me a stronger candidate in the business world were budgeting and differential compend.
It was hard to pick just a few concepts as I feel they all helped make me stronger even if only a little. The budgeting unit helped because I feel everyone, not only caution, simply everyone should know how to create a working budget. It doesnt enumerate if youre not creating budgets for the company you work for, still anyone with a successful home usually has a budget in mind. Being able to create a budget and astute the different types of budgets will help me for the rest of my life unheeding of if its needed for my career or not. The differential analysis unit helped me by teaching me hoe to determine a price for a product, and how to make smart decisions on behalf of a company.



I feel like even if I do not have a career in management it is still useful to know how to do that. Most companies get intot hire for their management positions, but rather farm people already within the company so if I have this knowledge I have the opportunity to be promoted sooner rather than later, and be a bigger plus to the company which is a huge relief for job security.
This phratry has affected me in my professional development as a student and a person by reassuring me to play along working towards my goals. This class was not an easy class for me, but I still managed to do well only because I kept my drive and initiative high.
