INTRODUCTION
Enron Corporation is an American Energy company, which is based in Houston, Texas. This company employed approximately 22000 staff and was one of the humankinds leading electicity, natural gas, communications and pulp and composition companies.

THE PERIOD AND DATE OF THE FRAUD
The Enron Fraud occurred sometime in the 2001 and this caused Enron to charge for bankruptcy in late 2001. At the end of 2001 it was revealed that its financial condition was sustained substantially by institutionalized, systematic and creatively planned accounting fraud, known as the Enron Scandal. beginning is also made to an article in the Wall alley Journal dated November 29, 2001 Running on Empty- Enron Faces Collapse as Credit, Stock Dive and dynergy Bolts. TYPES OF FRAUD SCHEMES INVOLVED
Enron Fraud can be categorized as pecuniary Statement frauds. fiscal Statement fraud occurs the least and comprises of only 7.9% of frauds. The financial tilt frauds are the most material. The Fraud scheme therefore is Financial Statement Fraud: this is the overstating or understating revenue or expenses, assets or liabilities.
