One could assume that learning is a passive lick. If perception is a passive process, then human life would be equivalent to a film, which is composed of discrete and bounded moments unrivaled after another. Essenti all toldy, perception is an active process that both organizes and synthesizes consequence from our actions on objects simultaneously. If perception was a passive process, the notion of all new knowledge deriving from old knowledge would be absent in our mindset, resulting in a lack of mix of recalling our past experiences. I will prove that perception is an active rather than a passive process. Let me explain.
Assimilation and modification
As we understand, when rational humans perceive, they must create a scheme to adapt to their world. This raises the question, “What gives a scheme meaning?” When a person adapts to the world, he or she must assimilate and control objects in the world to his or her scheme. What does that mean? Assimilation is the process of incorporating the object into the scheme or structure. An example of assimilation could be simple activity of walking past external objects to avert physical contact. For instance, a person eating pizza pie during luncheon must assimilate and accommodate the pizza.



The pizza is filled with carbs and amino group acids that is needed for the body to function. The mountain must open, bump off and detainment the pizza simultaneously and then open the mouth, place pizza in mouth and chew. Assimilation is the incorporation of an object into a structure of meaning. It is the process of “matching” the object to the scheme where adjustment occurs at the same time. The individual then adjusts the scheme to total the object.
