The Greeks contributed a lot of things to the West civilization, such as philosophy, art, history, and science. superannuated Greece started around 1750 B.C.E. and ended in 323 B.C.E. All of these things helped the growth of the western civilization. Much of the cultural things began during the Greek golden age when at that place was cultural prosperity and peace, and it was the time when Greece gave its shargons to the west. The Greeks started myths, the Olympics, and democracy. Philosophy would be the biggest contribution to the western civilization. They thought that people were able to understand everything they were told. Greeces best known and greatest philosophers were, Plato, Aristotle, and Socrates. The Greeks were similarly known for their contributions of medicine in the western civilization. Hippocrates manoeuvered how doctors should operate and Hippocrates created the Hippocratic Oath.
Because the Greeks were so adoring of the human body and human health they created the Olympic Games. They had a Greek sculpture Myron, make a really exquisite sculpture for the Olympic events. The Olympics were a great way to show good sportsmanship and allowed cultural diffusion.
The Greeks contributed a lot of things to the west civilization, such as philosophy, arts, theatre of operations, and mathematics. Socrates and Aristotle changed the perception of the west culture, outlook on life, and attitude. The theatre plays and art are still used today to comfort us.
The Greek idea of Democracy is still used in everyday life today. Pericles founded direct democracy, where all the people in the city could vote on every issue. The citizens were given a say in the government, and a say in the laws organism made. And the Greek architecture is still used in the buildings that are made today, including capital buildings.
