I grew up as a kid watching the Detroit tigers playing baseball on TV with my dad every season that I can remember. My 3 brothers growing up played baseball in city leagues and high school. Baseball is one intimacy in my family we all have in common. Baseball is Americas Pastime because during the late 19th and early 20th century it was probably the most widely played sport in the country. Baseball was to that time period as video games and televisions are to today. onward TV Baseball was what kids did after school and on the weekends and during the summer. It was literally how America passed the time.
