Abstr answer
A rectifier is an electrical whatsis that converts alternating current (AC) to direct current (DC). Half-wave rectification female genitals be achieved with a single diode while intravenous feeding diodes are required for a full-wave rectification. This report focuses on analyze the electronics characteristics of diode and the various applications of its characteristics in different circuits. Experiments were make on the half-wave rectifier circuits and full-wave rectifier circuits to investigate the voltage transform characteristics and the effects of load and condenser on the rectifier voltage waveform.
Also the effect of diode in the clipper circuit was investigated. Results showed that
diode could act as a rectifier to eliminate unwanted voltage waveform and capacitor
could act as filter to provide smoother d.c. voltage waveform. Conclusions were made
on the characteristics of diode and capacitor in various circuits and the applications of these characteristics.
