Fluoride

This essay is an argument for an English 1C Class. This essay argues for adding fluoride to the citys water system supply, it adresses around of the oposing arguments as well as the health benifits of fluoride.

Recently here in Shasta County the Redding city council voted to fluoridate the citys water supply, in response to this end a group of citizens petitioned to suck the anaesthetise placed on the ballot so that the people could decide whether or non to fluoridate the citys water supply. They received enough signatures to have the issue voted upon as sum A The Clean Water characterization. Measure A of course passed and therefore stopped the cities water from being fluoridated. The people behind Measure A use the slogan The Clean Water Act to mislead the semipublic about the issue, there campaign strategy behind Measure A was lets keep the water clean. Any person not completely familiar with the issue or the effects of fluoride would on the face of it vote yes on something called The Clean Water Act without tear down knowing that the real issue was about adding a really beneficial substance to the water. Adding fluoride to the water has many advantages that definitely exceed the disadvantages, and had the public been more thoroughly educated about fluoridisation the outcome of measure A professional personbably would have gone the other way.
