Queen Elizabeth was the twenty-forth Queen of England. She ruled alone with reserve and love for her country. Her reign was referred to as the Elizabethan Age because it was a time of great triumph in England. She is known as the Virgin Queen, Good Queen Bess, and Gloriana.
Elizabeth Tudor was born on September 7, 1533 in Greenwich Palace. Her parents Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn were disappointed that they had a girl. When King Henry died, Elizabeths half-brother, Edward VI, succeeded the throne. Then when he died, bloody shame Tudor, Elizabeths half-sister, took the throne. Mary was disliked by approximately the tidy sum because she tried to make Catholicism the state religion by prosecuting Protestants, which by the way was Elizabeths religion. Finally, Mary died in 1558 and Elizabeth became queen.

Robert Dudley is probably the most memorably suitor of Elizabeth. Robert and Elizabeth had a secret relationship because she didnt want to go public with someone she thought her pile would disapprove. The problem with this relationship was that Dudley was married. One day Dudley said he was planning to kill his wife to marry Elizabeth. She never thought he would do it, but later someone constitute Amy, his wife, at the bottom of the staircase dead.
