In 1950, the world universe was approximately 1 2,556,000,053. Currently, the world population sits at an estimated 2 6,848,932,929, and experts predict that the population will induce over 9,000,000,000 by the year 2050. This carries a sleuth of puzzles, including, barely are not limited to; geo interpretical, ecological and economical. The human population affects everything; we currently consume 3 120% of the worlds natural resources. Thats right; we take to a greater extent than the world can give. And its starting to show. Our consumption of non-renewable resources such as 4 coal, gas and oil increased nearly 700% in the midst of 1961 and 2001. The presence of human population has also taken its price on the animal kingdom; the population 5 of terrestrial, fresh water and marine species fell on average by 40 percent between 1970 and 2000. The fact of the matter is, we are the biggest problem on this planet.

It has become such a drastic problem that humans have actually begun to physique artificial islands to accommodate our ever increasing need for more land.
