I first became fascinated with this overrun when I was three years old. My plan for this paper is to apologise concisely history of Yellowstone Park itself and then the history of Old Faithful by explaining the who, what, when, where, and how. In addition I will explain what a hotspot is and some fun facts and myths that I have found while doing my research on this magnificent spell of American History. The first full stop that will be discussed is a brief history of Yellowstone itself. Yellowstone National Park was founded in 1872, by the US Congress.

The US Congress wanted to preserve unmatched natural wonders from settlement, occupancy, or sale, as well as from suffering or spoliation, and to retain these same wonders in their natural condition.3 But the first people there were the Native Americans. They lived on these lands over 11,000 years ago. The Native Americans lived, hunted, and had transportation routes in Yellowstone.
